Take Our Kids to Work Day
Grade 9 students - Take Our Kids to Work Day is on Wednesday, Nov 4th. Please make sure you have handed in your completed form to your Period 2 teacher before October 28th.
Volunteers Needed
Sanford Collegiate Leadership alumna, Messina Schrof, is once again looking for volunteers to help at Starbuck's Christmas Market Extravaganza on November 7th. Help is needed in the canteen, at the auction table and with set-up and tear-down.
This is open to all students at Sanford Collegiate and community members, so feel free to drag along your friends and family

Colour wars are coming up on Tuesday, October 27th.
Counting will take place in the gym on Tuesday at lunch. Grade 9’s are blue, grade 10s are purple, Grade 11s are red, and grade 12s are green. Whichever grade dresses up the most gets to pick their category for the theme of gym riot!
Bake Sale
To support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Girls' Sanford Sabres hockey team will host a bake sale this Tuesday at lunch, with treats ranging from 2–4, so come grab something sweet and help support a great cause!
Design Contest
The Sanford Drama Program is hosting a design contest where talented students can create a logo for this year's production of Clue, as well as a logo for the Sanford Theatre Company. The details of the contest will be posted around the school, and all designs are due Nov. 6. The winning logos will be on T-shirts and merch for this year's production, and the artist whose design is chosen wins a special prize.
